Gender is a social construct specifying the socially culture and roles that men and women are expected to follow. Both men and women have expectations that society lays out for them. Gender roles are a way that society labels men and women. First of all, Gender roles is one topic where the roles and duties are all universal. Many women where neglected full citizenship and where only limited to do so little of things such as leave the house. Society always has many different purposes for different people.
