Book review: Hunger Games

In a place once known as North America, now known as Panem, is a very rich city surrounded by twelve districts. Every year because this very rich city, known as The capitol is so rich and likes to think they control all the Districts. Then they are force to compete in the hunger games. The hunger games is where two people from the ages 12-18 are chosen from each district and are forced to compete to a fight to the death. "The Hunger Games" is a action packed book filled with excitement and suspense in almost every page. I found "The hunger games" to be a great book that always managed to put me on the edge of my seat. It showed danger, tragedy, and suspense. If I where to give a rating to the hunger games I would give it five out of five stars. I would recommend this book to anyone who is tempted to read "The Hunger Games".

Gender roles effect the days of our lifes everyday. Men and women have roles that they are expected to follow in our society, but gender roles also effect the illegal activity. No matter where you go gender roles play a part in and crime is no exception. First of all, when it comes to commiting crimes the overall suspects are men. on a website written by Old Bailey states " Women are only accounted as suspects 21% of the time. When a serious crime happens no one really suspects the women at first until futher investigation. For reasons unknown men have become the prime suspects when a crime takes place in the world. The article written by Old Bailey also states "women are always accused a fewer and lesser crimes." From this statment it is saying that women are accused of lesser crimes meaning smaller. So while men are being accused of serious crimes such as murder women are being accused of smaller crimes such as shoplifting. Crimes happen all over the United States and even when a criminal commits a crime, gender roles are still in play. Next, when a crime is being commited it is said that women are usually the victims. In a article ,written by Arnold smith,it states "When it comes down to mudering or stealing the victim turns out to be the victim nearly one third of the time." Why are women the prime target? Could it be because women are weaker? or could there appearance make them a target? In a article wriiten by Peyton Farmer it states " Men commit crimes to have a sense of power and unfortunatly they target the weak to make there self feel strong." Criminals do target weaker civilans most of the time. Criminals are consumed by greed and hatred, two very dangerous combinations and makes many men and women targets. In conclusion, Why do gender roles effect crime in the courtroom? Also why do they effect the crime itself? Gender roles play a massive part in our society. Crime will always be effected by gender roles and honestly there is no way to stop it. Gender roles play a huge part in society.

Gender is a social construct specifying the socially culture and roles that men and women are expected to follow. Both men and women have expectations that society lays out for them. Gender roles are a way that society labels men and women. First of all, Gender roles is one topic where the roles and duties are all universal. On a website entitled trinity.edu it states "Women have always had a lower social status Through time." Many women where neglected full citizenship and where only limited to do so little of things such as leave the house. Society always has many different purposes for different people.

      Brian Ross, a ABC reporter, Discovers In his Investigation TSA officers stealing from there airport stations. TSA officers are in trusted with airport security and they steal items that belong to us. These thefts are a disgrace in honor and pride.

       First of all, The investigation, led by Brian Ross, went to airports with Several reports of stolen items to see if the TSA officers were responsible for these thefts. The ABC investigation states "We have reason to believe that TSA officers have been stealing hundreds of dollars worth of items". To me this is disgraceful that we can not even go to an airport without worrying about thief's in the airport. I would never want to get to my destination to only find out my valuables have been stolen I would be upset and enraged.

       Next, Brian Ross took the matter into his own hands and decided to go to infamous airports were items were reported missing. In Orlando, Brian purposely left behind an ipad to check if a Thief was lurking about. Mr. Ross stated " I filled out a missing item form online and I was told there was not any ipads in custody of the airport." If it were my ipad that had been stolen I would have marched into the airport demanding to know were it is. I have no idea why we can not trust random people but when I hear stories such as these I have a hard time trusting anybody.

        Finally, will these thefts by TSA officers stop? Roy henry, a victim of airport theft, states "I remember I carried a iPod and a Gameboy and when I looked in my bag they mysteriously disappeared." Today we live in a world where it seems like we cant even walk into a store without our car getting stolen. It is not fair that Mr. Henry got his belongings stolen and should not be. Trust is so easily lost and very hard to obtain back.

        In This news Investigation I can take responsibility in my learning by following Brian Ross in the search for his missing ipad on ABC news. I will learn to see if there is any way to prevent my personal belongings from being stolen.

        In conclusion, Brain Ross is still on the search for missing items in airports and other forms of transportation all around the world and hopes to uncover more thief's hiding in the system. These investigations help everyone become more cautious with there most value possessions

               We all know the famous superhero "Iron man" we have read his comic books and seen his movies on the big screen, But appearing now in our own military are Tony Starks "Iron Man armored Suits." Could these armored be as great as the ones in the movies? Will the cost of these suits increase the budget? Can these suits be safe for the people of the united states?

               First of all, Could these suits be as amazing as tony Stark's famous suits?  Famous comic book artist, Tony Stark, Created the suit so he could protect the world from the evil. In a CNN report, Written by Larry Shaughnessy, states "Many of the technologies that could be incorporated in the suits already exists just separately." It is hard to believe that something as incredible as the iron man suit could be created. If we had suits like that in the military it could be dangerous or could help the fight on the battlefield even more.

                Next, Will these suits increase the budget? In the report, written by Larry Shaughnessy, he states "Iron man suits have been known to be very expensive and cost a fortune." We are already in a bad debt in the economy these suits could increase it much more. Is the cost of these suits to high for the economy right now? It is probably so that these suits could make our debt even worse.

                 Finally, Can these suits be safe for the people of the untied states? U.S. Special Forces Command adm., William Mcraven, States "The suits will take a group of men that are extremely high functioning on the battlefield and make them completely unstoppable." What if one of these men go crazy and stole the suit for himself? The world could be in a great deal of danger and many could die from just one man. These suits are very dangerous and should not be taken lightly.

                 I can learn from my reading by checking up on the iron man suits know in the military as "Talos" and check how they are being used and learning more about how they work. Then I could see how much money is use to produce this armor.

                In Conclusion, The Iron Man suits known as "Talos' can be very dangerous and expensive but with the trusted guidance from the military I am sure that that Iron Man could very well save the day on and possibly off of the battlefield.

           In a CNN report entitled "Injured Army Ranger Salutes From Hospital Bed" Ranger Joshua Hargis suprises the whole room with his actions on and also off of the battlefield.  If words are more powerful than actions, than this is a powerful example.

           First of all, the soilder's name is Joshua Hargis, a cpl. in the U.S. military. The CNN report, written Dorrine Mendoza, states "He was injured in a military operation in afghanastin that killed four troops and injured fourteen soilders." This is one of the many reasons I feel thankful to ha our troops They put life and limb on the line to protect our country. The soliders of the United states deserve all of our respect and love for the dangers they face everday.

           Next, Joshua Hargis, A U.S ranger, recieved a purple heart medal for the actions he preformed on the battlefield. Dorrine mendoza states "He had a neck brace, tube attached everywhere, and was covered in a red, white, and blue quilt." This man was seriously injured for protecting lifes on the battlefield and is still in the hospital today. The brave courage he had was incredible if only we could thank him more than just by giving him a medal.

            Finally, while Joshua was lying in bed hurt and broken he surprises everyone who came to visit him. Taylor Hargis, Joshua's wife, States "When being presented with the purple heart medal josh had surprise everyone when he started to move his hand into a salute position." Even though he was hurt beyond limits josh still showed enough strenghth to be able to salute his fellow brothers and sisters for his medal. Joshua is no doubt a strong solider and a proud solider as well.

             In Conclusion, Joshua Hargis was a solider who was hurt for protecting his comrades in the heat of battle and was awarded with the purple heart medal. Everyday soliders like Josh are fighting to protect our country and we should all be thankful for there sacrifices they make to protect us from the dangers beyond the border.

       We all know the famous superhero known as Batman, we have seen his movies and played with his action figures but now theres is a new actor stepping into the boots of Batman and his name is Ben Affleck. Will Ben be able to fill the roll of Batman? Do the fans like the thought of Ben playing their favorite superhero? What do I think about this actor change?

        First of all, will Ben be able to fill the roll of batman?  In a CNN report, written by Breeanna Hare, the article states "The last time Ben Affleck played in a superhero movie the word cried." The movie she was talking about was daredevil and yes to be honest I loved that movie but it didnt make me cry. Ben was a good character in that movie and maybe he could pull of the cowl of batman in the new Man of Steel sequel.

        Next, do fans like the thought of Ben playing there favorite superhero? In a video posted by Omekongo he states "Ben Affleck is a great all around Hollywood man, but he is the wrong choice for batman." There have been tons of hateful comments coming from Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace and from the sound of it most people do not want Ben Affleck as batman. Even though there are a lot of negative comments not all of them are bad, There are many people who are all for the idea of  Ben as Batman.

       Finally, what do I think about this actor change? One Time I remember it was a sunny afternoon and my mom came home with a new movie and that movie was Daredevil and I put it in and watched three times, I loved every bit of it especially Ben as Matt Murdock. Ben Affleck as Batman? I say go for it! I think Ben can fill this roll of Batman and show everyone he can be the famous Dark Knight. Ben will have a lot of expectations from me though but I know he will be able to pull it off.

      What can I do to improve my learning? I could go to CNN and read more of this exciting change and also purchase a ticket to the Man of Steel Sequel and see how Ben Affleck Preformed in this movie.

       In conclusion, Ben Affleck playing the roll of batman will be tough and he will have a lot of comments on his work but I believe if he works hard he can pull off the roll as the Caped Crusader and make The Man of Steel sequel a great movie.

book review

        For this book review I have chosen to write about the book known as The Berlin Boxing Club. In this action packed tale there is a young man proofing that anyone can stand and fight if they are willing to work for it. The Berlin Boxing Club is now one of my favorite books and I would recommend it to everyone.
          This book takes place in the world war two. Hitler and the nazi's are at there prime and are irradicating jews from germany. This is young austin's main threat he must learn to overcome. The jews are not allowed in schools or allowed to compete in any sports such as boxing. In Order to be a champion Austin must defy his own country.
          When I read The Berlin Boxing Club it showed me to never let anyone bring you down for being who you are. In The Berlin Boxing Club the story states "Just because I was jewish I was looked down on frowned upon, but still I never gave up." Even though the people around him did not beilieve in him he was still strong willed and determine to show the world that he was ready to fight. This young man shows that your better than what anyone thinks, and you have the power to be a champion.
         The main character in the book The Berlin Boxing Club is Austin Rowller. Austin was a young kid growing up in rough times. Austin was considered to be a outcast and weak and tiny but he still found a way to let off steam. Austin showed me that with hard enough determination anyone can be a champion. Austin proofs to the world that he can handle anything that it can throw at him and will keep handling it until he proofs he is worth somthing.
            If I were to rate The Berlin  I would rate it four out of five stars. I suggest everyone who loves stories of an underdog to read this book it is sure to give you goosebumps.

      Google is giving more people a chance to pay $1,500 for a pair of the Internet-connected glasses that the company is touting as the next breakthrough in mobile computing.The product, dubbed "Google Glass," will be offered to "bold, creative individuals" selected as part of a contest announced Wednesday. Google Glass is supposed to perform many of the same tasks as smartphones, except the spectacles respond to voice commands instead of fingers touching a display screen. The glasses include a tiny display screen attached to a rim above the right eye and run on Google's Android operating system for mobile devices.
        First of all, will These pair of glasses be able to make the citizens lifes easier? Because no hands are required to operate them, Google Glass is supposed to make it easier for people to take pictures or record video wherever they might be or whatever they might be doing. David Powers, a worker at Verizon, says "touch screen phones are always having trouble because of their screens will not read their owners finger." This kind of technology could make things be easier for citizens across the nation and could be one of the greatest inventions. I would want to test these glasses and compare it with my smartphone and see which one runs better.
         Next, can Google Glass search anything we want?Online searches also can be more easily conducted by just telling Google Glass to look up a specific piece of information. Google's Android system already has a voice search function on smartphones and tablet computers. Jesse Littlefield, a current Iphone user, states " It is easy for me to search up information on my Iphone ,could a pair of glasses make it easier"? Many people already like there phones and would just rather keep them instead of a pair of glasses. My phone is also easy to understand and work but the glasses to me seem to be a whole lot more complicated.
         Finally, Will these Glasses be able to fall off and break easily? In the latest demonstration of the product's potential, Google posted a video showing people wearing the glasses while skydiving, riding a rollercoaster, skiing, riding a horse and even swinging on a trapeze. Trevor Clark, A next door neighboor, comments " I have dropped my Iphone and it instantly broke. No way glasses could be any better." I would agree with trevor if these glasses were to fall would that be another 300 dollars down the drain? There seems to be a lot of risk in saftey when buying these is this a smart investment?
           In conclusion, Google has made another invention that could go on to make billions of dollars. There are many questions I wonder about this product but i would still like to experience Google Glass and see how different it is from the andriod phones.

         What has happen to my city? To its villain? to its hero? Everything I have fought for means nothing anymore. Darkness is spreading threw New York City and I do not know how to stop the evil from spreading should I keep on resisting the evil? Or should I let myself be consumed by hatred and power?  People say I have the power to save the world but I do not think I can or if I even want to.  My name is Peter Parker and the future is now in my hands the hands of Spiderman.
           Allow me to start at the beginning. I was at a research lab at Oscorp Inc. I was with my best pal Harry. He said he had to drop something off to Dr. Connors. From right there I knew something was wrong my spider senses were telling me to destroy what was ever in that package. I had no clue what was in there all it said in big red lettering was fragile. We got to professor Connors office and he was no where to be found. Harry looked over to me and said where is he? Maybe he is on a lunch break I said. Then he came through the door and said hello boys is there something I can help you with? Harry then said yeah my dad told me to give this to you. Then I saw the look he portrayed on his face. The expression was like he just saw a ghost. Then with hesitation in his voice he said ah yes thank you Harry tell your father I will get to work right on it. Alright professor said Harry. Then we walked out of his office as we were walking I asked Harry what do you think was in the box? I'm not sure my dad never tells me anything about his projects to save the future. Yeah but did you see the look on Connors face he acted as if he got a threat or something I said. Then as Harry was about to say something we heard a loud crash from behind us. I turned around and saw Professor Connors being held up in air by the neck and the one holding him there was one of my worst enemies, Venom.
              I saw everyone around us panicking so then I knew it was time for yours truly to suit up. I told Harry to go hide and I would meet him downstairs. Harry tried to refuse to leave me but then luckily for me someone knocked him into the elevator. Now that Harry was taken care of I went behind the wall where no one could see me then I suited up as the worlds greatest superhero Spiderman. I came out from behind the wall only to see that Dr. Connors was still being held hostage by venom. I then decided to web  my surroundings in order to put more power into my kick. Then once i sling shot myself at venom he turned and saw me and some how manage to grab my leg and now i was the one being held hostage. Venom looked at me and then said well look who it is. Who? Captain America? I said. He then threw me at the wall with all of his might and then webbed me to side of it and said we  will deal with you in one second spiderman. Venom Then said to Dr. Connors where is the amplifier? Dr. Connors responded I do not have it. LIAR! said venom in a raging voice. Then as Venom was about to end Dr. Connors Venom stoped and laughed and then said here it is and then he picked up the package harry had delivered.  No! Dr. Connors said you have no idea what that will do to your mind it will make you unstable. Then I said oh yeah cause he is perfectly sane right now. Then all of a sudden venom came charging at me and tackled me through the wall and we fell for what seems like hours until i was able to turn my body and make venom hit the ground. Venom got up even angrier than he was twenty stories ago. Then Venom opened the package from Mr. Osborn and he pulled out a strange device. This thing had some type of futuristic glow to it then before i even could get a good look at the device Venom ate it. Then all of a sudden Venom began to get even bigger and stronger than before. i knew i had to stop him now so I jumped out at him and delivered a dropkick straight to his face and went up in the air. Then as I was going to land i could feel something going across my body. It was my worst fear. A part of Venom got on me and was shaping my body. Then with no time at all the black suit was back on me!
           I started to panic i was using every muscle in my body trying to tear the black suit off. Then as I looked up at venom he looked as surprised as I was. Then he started yelling at himself saying what? this wasnt suppose to happen we were suppose to kill the spider not make him one of us. Then he dropped down to his knees and said Silence you fool i am the one in control here not you pathetic human. Venom then stood up and gave his deadly smile and rushed at me ten times faster than i had ever seen him before. I manage to dodge his first three attacks but then his forth one hit me straight in the gut and then he kicked up into the air and webbed my back and slammed me back onto the ground. Venom came up to me and stomped his foot on my neck and then said I would kill you right here but then you would miss all the fun and you could make a great weapon for the new world. New world? What are you talking about? I said. In due Time spider in due time said venom the world as you know it is no more. Then before i could say anything else venom picked me up and threw me making me go through three or four buildings and landing on a random rooftop. I tryed to stand up but I instantly fell down and I passed out.
            Hours went by before I awoke and I looked around and saw I was in a living nightmare. The city just went in complete chaos. There were buildings on fire, police sirens going off in every direction, and screams of the innocent filled the city. What did venom do? Then I heared someone scream help! then I jumped off the building and found the voice coming from a alley way. I saw a women balled up in the Corner with a terrified look on her face and then see stared at me and said back away your one of them. Relax I am  here to help you I said. No your one those things that has been chasing me she said. then i stared at her puzzled and said one of what? She then had gotten an extreme look of fear and shouted one of them! I quickly turned behind me and i saw just average citizens in the shadow of the alley way. Then they stepped into the moonlight and saw on there face was some of venom. I could not believe my eyes Venom had turn them into zombies that were under his control. I grabbed the women and got her out of there and I dropped her off on a roof top and told her to stay put. Then as I was swinging threw times square I saw a group of Venom's Zombies chasing after a man so I dropped down there to save him. First I landed on the zombie leading the charge then two more jumped at me then I used my web shooters to make them crash into each other. Then all of a sudden one of them grabbed me from behind and started to squeeze me so hard I could hear my bones start to break. Then more and more of them came around me and started to hit me until they made me so angry that the suit made spikes and shot them at the zombies. I was angry I felt like making them beg for mercy but I stopped myself and that's when i knew the black suit was starting to take control again. The worst part about that was I liked the feeling having the sensation that I was the strongest and most powerful.
              I ran away and went to the top of the daily bugle building and I looked around. The city's people have been infected by Venom's new power and have caused war through out the city. If things keep going like this Venom will control the world. So that is what he meant by the new world a world controlled by him and his minions. I knew I had to stop him and the suit will lead me right to to him. Some how the suit and venom had a connection they could sense each other. So I followed the suit until it lead me straight to Venom. I found him on a bridge laughing and getting joy out of the pain he was causing. Then before he could see me I sling shot myself at Venom again and this time my kick connected and sent him flying into a car. Then Venom looked at me and said Your going to pay for that spiderman. I looked at him and with anger in my voice and I yelled I am going to end this once and for all. Then Venom raised his hand and commanded hundreds of his zombies to attack me and I took them all down one by one until I was the last one standing. Then I looked around the bridge for venom but I could not find him until the black Pieces of the Venom zombies went up into the air and on to venom. When he came down he was the size of a house. His legs were gone but his upper body became massive And then he cocked his fist back and it came soaring at me. I Dodged it and went For his head but when I got close to him he was able to form five or six arms out of his chest and squeeze me like an orange. I struggled to get out but his strength was too much to break out of. He then made his arms throw me up in the air and slam me back down onto a car. That is when I knew I could not beat him. He was to strong and I did not have the power to stop him. Then Out of no where I heard Eddie Brock, The human inside of Venom, Yell Spiderman you have to destroy the amplifier its the only was to stop him. Then I knew what I had to do. Venom's weakness is sound, if I could make enough noise I would be able to make venom reveal where it is in him. I then lead Venom to chase me and I Started to make as much noise as possible but I needed more then I saw my chance. There was a leak in  a gasoline truck if I could make the truck explode then there would be more than enough sound. Venom then Said stop running and accept that you have lost. Then there was a broken power line and I manage to grab it and light the truck and then BOOM!!! The sound alone nearly took care of venom but I still pulled out the amplifier From his body. Venom then had an overload. There was too much he had to control but was not able to and he fell to the ground. Then the black suit faded away and the zombies were normal humans again. I went To the edge of the bridge to see the sun rise. It was truly the greatest sight knowing that the world will be able to enjoy this moment.


            
         

Strange Blackout CC#3

           A mysterious blackout at the Superbowl? Sunday February 3rd in the middle of the worlds greatest game of football a blackout came and left the game in suspense for about half an hour. The question is what could have caused this strange blackout?
           First of all, some are blaming the light show from Beyonce's performance during half-time. Carl Owens, A electrician for entergy, States "Her half time show took a ton of power just from the look of it. That could of easily been the cause of the blackout." I could understand trying to make a spectacular performance but there is still a limit to think about. So could Beyonce be the one to blame for the blackout at the Superbowl or could it have been something or someone else?
             Next, could the blackout be an elaborate prank? Security guards at the Superbowl reported and said "There will always be some guy out there trying to ruin the Superbowl for a bad joke." There would have to be a lot of planning and work to go into this prank. If this was the cause of the blackout then I guess its true that some guys have too much time on their hands. Could this have been the cause of the blackout?
             Finally, was the blackout just a simple electrical problem? Aaron Zigman, a fan of the 49ers commented "It just goes to show you that no matter where you go every place has its problems." To me it is hard to believe that this was just a simple electrical problem I just would think a mistake like this would happen during the Superbowl. Was this the reason why the Superbowl was put on hold or could it have been another reason?
             I can take responsibility in my learning by going to do more research and find the true cause for this mysterious black out. I also could find out more opinions of what other people think about the blackout.
             In conclusion, there could be many causes to blame for this event but in the end the game was still a amazing game to end the football season. Now you have heard my suggestions but what do you think cause the blackout at the Superbowl?
            

       I have read many books but I could honestly say one of my all time favorites would be The lightning thief. Mysterious things are happening in our world but we will never know but one hero is learning the truth and is our last hope. Rick Riordan's lightning thief  amazed me with the action and danger around every turn.
      When I read The Lightning Thief  it showed me that anyone could be a hero. In Rick Riordan's book it states "your more than just a kid with dyslexia Percy, your a hero." The book is saying to me do not let anything hold you back from your destiny, we all have a place in this world but only you can find where your needed.
       Percy Jackson was just an ordinary kid who was destined for great things. The lightning thief  novel says "Mom why do we put up with this? Percy one day you will understand." Percy has no idea what she meant when she said that but his future every one will depend on him.
       Rick Riordan, author of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, Imagines a world where everything is happening right before our eyes yet we do not see it. The book quotes " The mist makes mortals see what they can believe." Some people will never believe in something that they can never see and for that I feel bad for them.
       If i were to rate this book i would give it five stars. I recommend everyone should read this book it is one of the best out there. This book could entertain you and help you learn.

  

What is your dream?

            Every citizen in America has a dream some wish to be rich, others to be famous, and most just want a ordinary life style. The question is what is my American Dream? What is my perspective of success? my dream is to be that one man you could come to when you have no where else to go. What I am trying to say is I want to be a hero to those around me.
            First of all, when I say hero I do not mean the ones such as Batman or Superman. I mean the every day heroes who stand up for what is right and try to help there fellow citizens. Martin Luther King Jr. Is probaly the greatest example he saw the pain and devistation growing around him and decided to set out and not only change his community but change all of U.S.A. When I learned about Mr. King I thought to myself, heres a man who is not afraid to take a stand to our society. Martin Luther King was one of my inspirations growing up, he showed me to never give up on your dreams even if everyone around you is trying to destroy them.
            Next, there are more heroes like him such as a fire fighter who risk there lifes for the people in need. In my American Dream my career choice would be an E.M.T. The reason why i choose this profession is because I want to be able to help ones in dire need. When I was seven years old, I remember my friend ate somthing he was allergic to and needed help then the abulance came in no time and helped my friend to the truck. I asked the man will he be ok? He turned to me and smiled and said, "I will have him back by recess". Ever since i met that paramedic, he inspired me to be a E.M.T.
           In conclusion, my American Dream is to be a hero to my community and as well as my country. The every thing you do changes the future from helping a little boy to changing America forever. Now I ask you what is your American Dream?

Cyborg anthropology

Director of Esri R&D center, Amber Case, studies the symbiotic interactions with humans and technology.These studies are called cyborg anthropology. Cyborg anthropology is research of technology and how it can be used to help mankind. Amber Case is working on projects for technology to replace missing or damaged body parts.

Amber Case spoke with CNN answering Questions about her research. CNN asked "what Exactly is a cyborg"? when asked Amber stated "a cyborg is not a terminator or a robocop a cyborg is simply one who interacts with technology. To be honest i am very curious about this new concept of technology I would think this type of machinery is generations away. There is a lot to be concerned about i am wondering what would happen if there was a glitch or malfunction in the machine, there is so much that could go wrong.

Amber Case, The remarkable inventor, Answers questions on about how she got inspired to work with cyborg anthropology.  Ms. Case said "I was very interested in technology when i was young my favorite invention was the computer, i wanted to learn how to make technology more advance for humans". In my opinion she seems to be very dedicated to her line of work and trying to make our lives easier. There are tons of questions I would like to ask Amber about her interest in cyborg anthropology such as when could this technology be in the streets.

I can take responsibility for my learning by looking up Esri R&D center and learn about their inventions they are in the progress of creating. I could also start learning how many people could use this technology in there life.

In conclusion Amber Case works nonstop to find away to make syfi into a reality. one of the biggest questions i ask, is this type of technology possible?

In this article i have come to learn why Bacteria can survive on caffine and why us humans are unable to live off of caffine.

The Article has said " Pseudomonas putida CBB5 can get all the calories and nutrients they need from caffine". It is interesting how even bacteria, germs and dirt, can do things that even humans are not able too.

The article also states "that human liver enzymes have the task of processing caffine and other drugs". No matter what we do we can never survive off of caffine because our bodies wont let us.

I can take responsibility for my learning by looking up different bacteria and see if they can survive on caffine.

Theres many different bacterias but my question is how many can survive on Caffine?

Flying sauser

 In this Fox News report i have found out there was secrect records for a flying sauser program found in a warehouse.

 For more information the Fox News report states "they found a document describing a secret program by the air force to build a flying sauser". This is incredible information and just imagining a flying sauser becoming a real source of transportation would be Amazing.

What would this Flying sauser look like? Well the Fox news Explains in their report " NDC is in the process of digitizing the whole document. This sauser had too take a lot of planning and design but why would they plan all of this just to Hide this design?

The Dark knight rises was a dark night for many. James Holmes Assulted many people that night and changed their lifes Forever. When James was asked in a court room why he did this he stated "it was a joke ". This man was a insane and had to have major problems for what he had done to those poor people at the Century 16 theater in Aurora, California.

James Holmes came into the theater with a black hoodie and red hair according to the woman who worked at the century 16 theater. Just by looking at this man you would probaly think he was different and not in a good way in my opinion.

At about 12:45 Police had apprehended James Holmes after the shootings Behind the theater next to his car filled with fire arms according to the police officer. This man obviosly was the one responsible for these murders and the worst part was he was doing this for a terrible prank.

Even though this man has been brought to justice we can never fix what he has been done. Ever since the shooting I am always concerned that it is not safe to take my little cousin to the movies.The world is scared that this event could happen again and might occur soon.

book review

Jason, Leo and Piper (3 fifteen year olds) find out that they're demigods (half god half mortal). Jason's the son of Zeus, god of the sky, Leo's the son of Hephaestus, god of fire and forges and Piper is the daughter of Aphrodite, goddess of love. Leo's mom died because of Gaia (the earth) and he's been an "orphan" on the run ever since. Piper's dad has been captured by a giant and he says that if she doesn't sacrifice Jason and Leo to him, he will kill  her father. Piper eventually tells Jason and Leo this. Gaia has been asleep for ages but she is slowly awakening and bringing back the giants and the most terrifying monsters back from the underworld. Once Gaia is fully awake they will have no chance of stopping her and basically it will be the end of the world. The Lost Hero takes place all around the U.S.A. our young heroes go to places such as Chicago, Detriot, and Florida. When I read The Lost Hero im always satisfied with the book's twist and turns around every corner.The story makes me wish I was one of these amazing characters. My favorite character in this story would be Jason he is the one who holds the fate of the world in his hands. Jason is brave, fearless, and deah defying.  this is wierd to say but when I read about Jason he reminds me of my brother Jesse He is always getting me out of trouble and being the hero.

A amazing actor, Micheal Clarke Duncan, Had died this september 3, 2012. Micheal was best known for his breakout role John Coffey in the Green Mile, Which he was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. Micheal was also known for playing in movies such as Armageddon, The Whole Nine Yards, The Scorpion King, Daredevil, and cartoon roles such as Brother Bear and Kung Fu Panda.
On A Unfortunate day, July 13, 2012, Duncan Was Taken to the hospital after suffering from a heart attack. Micheal stayed in the hospital until September 3, where he passed away from that heart attack.
The Devistated Girlfriend, Omarosa Manigault, Tried to safe his life by preforming CPR but her attempt did not work. Even though Duncan is gone we will never forget the great movies he was in and what a great actor he was.

But there are new heroes in this book just discovering who they are and what incredible powers have awakend inside of them and now they will embark on journey where mystery awaits them
2. Rick Riordan: Son of Neptune  The next book in the amazing olympians series by Rick Riordan. My friend says this book has amazing storyline along with secrets and surprises around every page I look foward to reading this book because It is the sequel to the book The Lost hero. 
3. Rick Riordan: Mark of Athena  This book i bet is going to be a very exciting adventure its not out yet but fans of Rick riordan have been waiting to buy this book ever since they finished his last book the son of neptune. this book is going to be very popular with all of his fans.
4. Susan Collins: Hunger Games  This book seems to be very popular everywhere. i went to go see the movie version of Hunger games and i really like the movie and it made me want to read this book i look foward to reading it one day.
5. Richard Paul Evans: The Prisoner In Cell 25  I don't much about this book all i know is it a pretty good book and many people want to read even Mrs. Gillmore recommened it to her students and i cant wait to read this book and find out what it is like.
6. Micheal Carol: The Awakening  This book is about superheroes and thats somthing i love in this world theres a new generation of heroes that must protect the world or everthing will be lost to the new generations of villans.

Micheal Carol: Absolute Power  The Final adventure for the next generation of heroes this will be there final stand to bring peace to the world and if they dont chaos will spread its evil across our world and destroy it. this book should be amazing and leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next for the heroes.
9. Pittacus Lore: I Am Number Four This is another book that i saw in the movie theater when i saw this movie i didnt think it was that good but everybody says the book is ten times greater than the movie and for that reason i would really like to read this book.
10. Robert Sharenow: Berlin Boxing club This book takes back in war world two when the nazi took over there are challenges a kid must face being jewish thats all i know about this book and i really want to see how boxing ties into all of this. This book has gotten me extremely curious about its storyline.
